This retractable lap belt uses our tiny retractor -- just three inches wide by just two inches tall -- for ease of installation in tight spaces. Featuring an attractive chrome starburst push button buckle and chrome belt ends, this retractable system also has 20-inches of webbing on the buckle side, making it ideal for bench seats found in many classic automobiles. The retractor is an inertia locking system ﾖ it locks during a sudden stop or with any unintended motion. Many vehicles manufactured prior to the late 1960ﾒs were not equipped with seat belts.
