Returning goods to Adams Classic Cars:

Below you will find the policies and instructions for returning goods that were ordered online and shipped to you:

  1. Always contact us first before returning a product. You can reach us by e-mail info@adamscc.nl. You will receive a PDF-file with return form and a return number that you must use on this form.
  2. Missing items or damages must be reported to us within 3 days after receiving the order. After 3 days claims for missing or damaged goods are no longer accepted. When receiving a parcel always immediately check the box and its contents. In case of damage have the carrier make a note of it before signing for delivery. If a delivery is accepted without notification of damage we and/or the carrier are no longer responsible for damaged parts in that shipment.
  3. A return has to be shipped to us within 14 days after it has been delivered for a full credit. After 14 days we will not credit the full amount. It is best to save prove of shipping, ie. tracking slip.
  4. We do not accept returns of:

- Special order items: On the invoice [SO] will be noted with the product. Special Orders are ordered, manufactured or modified especially for you.
- Installed, ie. used or modified parts: When we find that the product has indications of use or modification we will not accept the return. If a product is defective please indicate what the problem is. Do not attempt to open or repair it! This will void any warranty.
- Electronic parts: All electronic parts like senders, regulators, computers, modules etc..
- Bearings and gaskets in opened packaging.
- B-Choice and used items (this is noted in the part details/description). 

  1. Returns in original, undamaged, packaging only! (We will credit a maximum of 80% if the product needs re-packaging). The returned parts have to be re-sellable.

 How to return a product:

  • Print pages 2 and 3 and enter the requested data. Clearly write your name and address on the shipping label, so it will be returned to you in case the carrier cannot deliver it to us.
  • Put page 2 and a copy of the invoice to the box.
  • Ship the return in a suitable box with paper or plastic stuffing so it is fixed in the box and cannot be damaged during shipping.
  • Insure and pay shipping charges for the return shipment. Freight collect shipments will not be accepted.
    If Adams Classic Cars is responsible for the return (ie. the wrong parts were shipped) we will credit the return costs as well.
  • Attach the shipping label [page 3] to the box. Returns without this label will not be processed.
  • Always request proof of shipping from the carrier. In case the return-shipment gets lost it will be needed to make a claim.

 Your return will be processed within 3 weeks after we receive it.

 Credit on returns

If you return a product according to our policies the credit will be calculated as shown below:

Within 14 days 100%  You will receive a credit invoice.
Between 14 days and 1 month 80%  You will receive a credit invoice.
Between 1 and 2 months 50% The credit amount will be used with a future order
After 2 months 0%  


There are no exceptions to the above!
